Bill March
With 30 years' service in local authority fire brigades, in March 2006 Bill set up his own company Fire Safety Advisory Services Ltd, and specialised in construction site fire safety working on the T5 construction project at Heathrow.
Bill has been heavily involved in the day to day management of fire safety, to the point of becoming involved in the training of the terminals' permanent staff prior to the buildings becoming operational.
From November 2009 he was employed full time by Kingfell Plc as a fire risk assessor and has become involved with the development of a computer based asset management system, for a client based fire risk assessment inspection program.
He is also involved in the process of developing the same asset management system for construction sites.
Bill has also attended the following fire specialist courses: Northern Ireland Building Control Fire Safety Panel, IOSH Managing Safely, Construction Industry Training and Specialist Fire Fighting & Rescue Courses.

Project Experience
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service
As a licensing officer carrying out audits of pubs clubs and bars, and advising publicans, solicitors, architects, and licensing magistrates as to the fire safety standards that are required. Acting as an agent for government departments, Department for Education and Skills (Schools), Social Services (Residential Care Homes, Children Act), HMI (Crown property).
Responsible for the audit of client fire risk assessments, and enforcement of Fire Legislation under the RRO. As a magistrate, invited to the Fire Service College Morton-in-Marsh to present mock court-room scenarios on the preparing and presenting of evidence to a magistrate’s court, to both fire officers and police scenes of crime officers. Conversant with the current fire safety legislation (RRO), Construction site Fire Safety Code of practice, Construction Design & Management Regs (CDM), Local Authority Building Regulations Consultation Health and Safety Management Regs, Health & Safety at Work Act and relevant British and European standards.
