Kingfell Engineering - System Health Checks

As part of the Kingfell team we have in house Commissioning Engineers, Fire Surveyors and Consultants with a wealth of experience of diverse premises.

Kingfell offer System Health checks on Third Party Systems and if requested can even provide Third Party Certification of installation to LPS1014, EN54 and British Standards.

With the changes in fire safety legislation we have noticed that many of our clients want to gain a fuller understanding about the fire systems they have responsibility for. Working with our clients we are being increasingly asked to carry out fire systems health checks. During a health check one of our team of experienced fire engineers will carry out a series of tests of the complete system to identify any problems that could compromise the safety of the building's occupants or the correct operation of the system.

Q: What types of system can you carry out a health check on?
A: Most of the health checks we carry out are on fire alarm and sprinkler systems, however we can carryout health checks on any fire systems you may have under your control including voice alarm systems.

Q: Is this work restricted to the UK?
A: No - as many of our clients have international portfolios we have been asked to carry out system health checks overseas.

Q: I have concerns regarding the operation of other safety systems interfaced with the fire alarm system. Can this be included in a health check?
A: Absolutely - in fact we would recommend this to all clients due to the importance of the ancillary equipment.

Q: Can a health check be carried out at night to minimise disruption?
A: Yes - we will always work to suit our clients needs and we offer a 24 hour service.
